10 Julai 2023, Guangzhou, China – CIDBH has successfully launched its new system called ASSURE, which is an online system to facilitate Product Certification and Testing process for importers of construction products and materials. The hybrid launching event was held at Canton Building Decorative Fair, Guangzhou with over 300 potential and existing partners streaming live from Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan, Shenzhen and many more.
The launch was followed by a MoU exchange between CIDBH and its strategic partner and collaborators, MCC Overseas (M) Sdn.Bhd, CABR (China Academy of Building Research Jianshuo – Beijing C., Ltd), Guangzhou Intelligence Quality Assurance Co. (IQA) and PROVA Inspection & Testing Co., (H.K.) Ltd. The ceremony was witnessed by the Chief Executive of CIDB Malaysia, Datuk Ir. Ahmad ‘Asri Abdul Hamid and Consul General of Malaysia in Guangzhou, Madam Suraya Ahmad Pauzi.
Also present at the event was the General Manager of China Foreign Trade Guangzhou Exhibition Co., Ltd. (CFTE), Liu Xiao Min; CIDB Malaysia Senior General Manager, Zainora Binti Zainal; Deputy C.E.O. of CIDBH, Mohd Azizi Ali; General Manager of CIDBH, Mohamad Faris Hj Ahmad and CIDBH Information Centre Representative, Zhang Guo Liang. This MOU outlines collaboration in areas related to construction materials testing and inspection.
Datuk Ir. Ahmad ‘Asri Abdul Hamid led a delegation from CIDB Malaysia to visit the CIDBH Information Centre in Guangzhou by signing the plaque. Prior to the event, he has led a visit of CIDB Malaysia delegation to the Centre at Building 1, 411, No 96 Ban He Road, HuangPu District, Guangzhuo. It is established as a one stop Centre to assist construction materials manufacturers and importers in the application of product testing and certification.
